TMZ Sports recently spoke to UFC lightweight champion and undefeated fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov and asked him about the incident caught on video showing what appears to be former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor punching an older patron inside a bar in Dublin, Ireland. You can check out Nurmagomedov’s comments below.

Regarding the incident, McGregor stated, “These people, they have to go to jail. I told you, this guy have no class. No respect. This is very bad for sport, you know? Some things he doing good for sport, but right now, he without his mind. He lose his mind. It’s crazy.”

He added, “Government have to smash him. This is my opinion because I really, really mad about this video. I don’t understand how you can punch old man. Even if he punch your face, like 10 time, 20 time. This is like big, big disrespect not only for this old guy, this is big disrespect for old people, you know?”

When asked if he has anything to say to McGregor, Nurmagomedov responded, “I don’t wanna say nothing to him. I just want to say, ‘I want government!’ Where are you guys?! Send him location! Send him location, and that’s it.”

Regarding the Irish government possibly arresting McGregor, which has yet to happen, he said, “Yes. 100 percent. 100 percent. OK, Today he punches like old guy. What’s gonna happen tomorrow? Nobody know this, you know?”

Previously, Nurmagomedov defeated McGregor in a UFC title fight by submission at UFC 229 in October 2018. It led to a post-match brawl, with Nurmagomedov going over the cage and fighting one of McGregor’s cornerman in the crowd. Additionally, McGregor got into a fight with some of Nurmagomedov’s cornermen in the cage. Both men were later suspended as a result. You can read more on that situation RIGHT HERE.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is scheduled to return to the Octagon next month at UFC 242. He will face interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier in a title unification match on the card, which will be held in Abu Dhabi on September 7.
