Luke Rockhold Re-Injures His Leg, Out Of Fight With Alexander Gustafsson

MMA Fighting reports that Luke Rockhold has re-injured his leg and will be out of a possible fight with Alexander Gustafsson. The fight had been discussed for UFC 227 at Los Angeles on August 4. It wasn’t officially announced.

Rockhold suffered the injury last week in training. He posted a video of the stitches, which is quite graphic.

Luke Rockhold reinjured his leg in training late last week and is now definitely not fighting Alexander Gustafsson this summer. I’m told he’s hoping to return in October, at the earliest.
