Lyoto Machida vs. Derek Brunson Added To UFC Fight Night 119

MMA Junkie reports that a middleweight fight between Lyoto Machida (22-7 MMA, 14-7 UFC) and Derek Brunson (17-5 MMA, 8-3 UFC) has been added to UFC Fight Night 119. It happens on October 28 at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo. It airs on FS1 after early preliminary fights on UFC Fight Pass. The card also includes a light heavyweight bout between Misha Cirkunov and Glover Teixeira.

This is Machida’s first fight in two years. He went 3-3 after moving to middleweight in October 2013 and was suspended in June 2015 by USADA for 18 months after using a banned substance. He returns only three weeks after becoming eligible to fight again.
