UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway posted a humorous tweet in response to the false missile threat that happened in Hawaii today. You can check out his tweet on the subject below.

Per USA Today, Hawaii was subjected to a false alarm for a missile threat this morning. The message from earlier today stated, “Ballistic Missile Threat Inbound To Hawaii. Seek Immediate Shelter. This Is Not A Drill.”

The message sent some civilians rushing for shelters. 38 minutes later, the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency public information officer Richard Rapoza said the message was sent in error.

Rapoza stated, “What happened was … during shift changes (with) outgoing and incoming staff, somebody selected the wrong item on a computer. It was user error.”

Holloway is a Hawaiian fighter and later posted his joking tweet after the message was revealed to have been sent in error. The UFC champion is currently slated to fight Frankie Edgar at UFC 222 in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 3 at the T-Mobile Arena.
