Michael Chandler Calls Out Rory MacDonald For Bellator Fight
Rory MacDonald wants a Bellator fight with Michael Chandler at the end of this year. Chandler took to Twitter to suggest that since he and the UFC vet and relative Bellator newcomer are both without fights, it would make sense for them to face off in the cage.
You can see the post below by Chandler, which prompted a response from MacDonald where he said he’d be “happy [to] fight” but said that their promotion’s scheduling plans are why he’s without a bout. MacDonald made his Bellator debut in May with a win over Paul Daley. Chandler’s last fight was in June, when he was upset by Brent Primus and lost his Bellator lightweight title.
from what im told, its scheduling strategy and not the lack of my next opponent being available i would b happy 2fight asap
