Robert Whittaker vs. Jared Cannonier Set for UFC 248

The UFC announced this week that former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker will fight again in March against Jared Cannonier in Las Vegas. The fight card will be UFC 248.
The upcoming event will also feature a title fight with strawweight champion Weili Zhang defending her belt against former champion Joanna Jedrzejcyzk.
Robert Whittaker looks to bounce back against his title loss to Israel Adesayna in October. He is currently 8-1 at 185 pounds. Since debuting at middleweight, Jared Cannonier has gone 3-0, including back-to-back knockout wins over David Branch, Anderson Silva, and Jack Hermansson.
UFC 248 will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
