Showtime Seeks Injunction Against Illegal Streaming Sites For Mayweather vs. McGregor

Showtime is seeking an injunction against sites to block them from illegally streaming the Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather bout. TMZ reports that the network has filed a suit in federal court asking for the injunction against several sites that they’ve scouted as potentially airing the fight for free online.

The network is expected to get the injuction granted. The PPV will run $89.95 for Standard Definition and $99.95 for HD, and some believe the fight could bring in as much as $500 million. It takes place on August 26th from Las Vegas, Nevada.
