T.J. Dillashaw Doesn’t Know Why Drama Surrounds Him

T.J. Dillashaw discussed the drama that surrounds him in a new interview with MMAjunkie ahead of his fight with Cody Garbrandt at UFC 217. The highlights are below:

On the drama that surrounds him: “I don’t know – maybe it’s just me getting out there and being around everyone. Jimmie Rivera’s talking about sparring footage we had back in the day, and the past with me and Alpha Male, there’s going to be stuff there. It almost sounds like jealousy, really. It’s gotten kind of childish and really embarrassing with how obsessed Alpha Male has gotten with my career.”

On his clashes with other fighters, such as Cody Garbrandt: “I think it’s just all circumstances and the position I’m in. I’m on top, and I’m looking to get my belt back. People, I think, are just a little bit jealous of the lifestyle and what I’m trying to accomplish.”
