Tony Ferguson vs. Kevin Lee Set For UFC 216

An interim lightweight title fight between Tony Ferguson and Kevin Lee is set for UFC 216. Dana White revealed the news on Tuesday, telling reporters (vias MMAjunkie) that he isn’t sure if it would be the main event for the fight.
Conor McGregor is the reigning lightweight champion, although the belt has not been contested since he won the title in November of 2016. McGregor will next compete in boxing, facing Floyd Mayweather on August 26th.
UFC 216 takes place on October 7th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
