UFC 1 on 1: Rose Namajunas Debuts Tonight

MMA Junkie reports that UFC 1 on 1: Rose Namajunas airs tonight on FS1 at 7 PM ET. It will feature a special interview with UFC women’s strawweight champion Rose Namajunas, who defends this Saturday against Joanna Jedrzejczyk (14-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) at UFC 223.

She spoke about how she prepared for their first fight at UFC 217 in November: “We knew everything she was going to do before she did it. I felt a lot of negative energy coming from her. She’s just really mean. I wasn’t really worried about that. I saw the opening (for the knockout), but you’re on auto-pilot in the moment. Right before that, I was present in the moment.”

The event happens at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. It airs on PPV after preliminary fights on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
