UFC Announces Cancellations for Scheduled June Events in Saskatoon and Austin

The UFC released official statements on the original scheduled locations for Fight Night cards scheduled for next month. There was a UFC Fight Night previously scheduled for June 20 in Saskatoon, Canada at the SaskTel Centre and another one on June 27 at in Austin, Texas.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and local restrictions on travel and public events, the Fight Night cards will be unable to move forward as scheduled for previously announced dates. You can view the full statements below:

Fight Night, Saskatoon (June 20)

“Due to current national and provincial restrictions on public gatherings and travel, UFC Fight Night originally scheduled for June 20th at SaskTel Centre will not continue as planned in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. UFC looks forward to returning with an event in the near future.”

Fight Night, Austin (June 27)

“Due to restrictions regarding public events, Fight Night originally scheduled for June 27th will not continue as planned in Austin. UFC looks forward to returning with an event in the near future.

The UFC’s next scheduled fight card is set to take place at the organization’s Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, May 30, pending approval from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
