The UFC is set to donate $1 million to help out those affected by the Las Vegas shooting. Dana White announced the news on Monday (Oct. 2), telling TMZ Sports that the company will give out the money to try and help the victims. Fifty-nine people have died and 527 were injured when a gunman opened fire on a crowd at the Route 91 Harvest music festival from an elevated position on the thirty-second floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. The gunman has been identified as Stephen Paddock.

White told the site that Las Vegas is his and the UFC’s home city, and that he feels like it is his responsibility to help the city recover. He also called on other business owners in the city to help out as well. You can see the video of White commenting on the issue in the player below.
