MMAjunkie reports that the hotel where the fighters were staying ahead of UFC Fight Night 107 were forced to evacuate last night due to reports of a fire and smoke going through the building.

Fire alarms sounded at the Hilton Canary Wharf at 11PM on Friday (March 17). The smell of smoke smelled through the building and up to the 10th floor. The building was evacuated after the alarms sounded.

UFC commentator John Gooden commented on what happened, saying, “I was there, researching away, putting some finishing touches to my notes, and I was just about to hit the sack, but that’s not happening.” It does not appear there were any casualties or injuries resulting from the apparent fire.

UFC Fight Night 107 is still scheduled to go ahead as planned. The event is set for today at the O2 Arena in London. The event will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.
