UFC’s Colby Covington Looking to Move to WWE

UFC fighter Colby Covington, who has been in the news for his anti-Brazilian comments at UFC Fight Night 119 recently spoke with BJ Penn Radio (via sportskeeda.com) and revealed that he is eyeing a move to WWE. Covington has been involved with Impact Wrestling as part of the American Top Team vs. wrestling angle…

“I think I’ll be ready in the next year…I’ve been honing my skills at Impact, you know (and) this year, my promos are on point. (I’m) making sure my bumps – you know, a bump is a term for taking a shot in the pro wrestling business – and making sure my finishing moves, and all my moves are correct (so) I don’t want to make any mistakes when I’m at that level (and) you got to be mistake-free at that level…So, you know, I think I’ll be ready; me and Dan Lambert will be ready for WWE within the next year.”
