April 23, 2019 | Posted by Jeremy Lambert

– Walt Harris will be taking time off after failing a USADA test for a prohibited substance from a contaminated supplement. Harris has been hit with a four-month suspension for the positive test.

Harris tested positive for LGD-4033 from in-competition urine sample he provided on December 29, 2018 that was collected by the California State Athletic Commission at UFC 232. Harris was victorious over Andre Arlovski at the event, originally walking away with a split decision victory. However, the fight was overturned to a no contest following Harris’ drug test failure.

CSAC announced a four-month suspension and $4,000 fine stemming from the failed test. The suspension began on December 29, 2018.
