Ali Wong is set to suit up in the upcoming DCEU Birds of Prey film. The Wrap reports that Wong (American Housewife, Ali Wong: Baby Cobra) will play one of Renee Montoya’s fellow law enforcement officers in the Gotham City. In addition, Robert Catrini has joined the film in an unspecified role.

Wong and Catrini join a cast that includes Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Huntress), Jurnee Smollett-Bell (Black Canary), Rosie Perez (Renee Montoya), Chris Messina (Victor Zsasz), and Ewan McGregor (Black Mask). Also cast in as-yet-unnamed roles are Steven Williams, Derek Wilson, Dana Lee, Francois Chau, and Matthew Willig.

Cathy Yan is directing the film from a script by Christina Hodson. Filming on the movie — which has the full title of Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) — begins in January. It will release on February 7th, 2020.
