Army of Thieves Comic-Con Teaser Previews The Army of the Dead Prequel

Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead gets a prequel spin-off in Army of Thieves, and the first trailer was unveiled at Comic-Con. During the Army of the Dead Comic-Con@Home panel, the trailer for the upcoming prequel was shown off which gives us a look at Matthias Schweighöfer’s Ludwig Dieter at the start of the crisis, before he was trying to help a group of mercenaries break into a bank vault in zombie-infested Las Vegas.

In Army of Thieves, small-town bank teller Ludwig (Schweighöfer) gets drawn into the adventure of a lifetime when a mysterious woman recruits him to join a crew of Interpol’s most wanted criminals, attempting to heist a sequence of legendary, impossible-to-crack safes across Europe. The film also stars Nathalie Emmanuel, Guz Khan, Ruby O. Fee, Stuart Martin, Jonathan Cohen, Noemie Nakai, Peter Simonischek, and John Bubniak. Directed by Schweighöfer, it was written by Shay Hatten from a story by Snyder and Hatten and streams on Netflix this fall.
