TMZ reports that Glee actor Mark Salling, who killed himself by hanging when he was waiting for a sentence in his child pornography case, was found to have alcohol in his system at the time.

The autopsy revealed that he had a blood alcohol content level of 0.08%, just at the point of legal intoxication. He was not on any other drugs, according to the toxicology report. Salling hung himself by a nylon rope, tied to a branch that was over six feet above the ground. He wrapped it around his neck five times. He had tried to kill himself months earlier by cutting his wrists. There were incisions of 2.5 cm and 6.5 cm on each hand.

The last time he was seen alive was around 11:30 PM on the night of his death. He was with his father watching television at their family home. His mother found out he was missing just after midnight. He took off his ankle monitor and left it down the street. He had been set to meet with his probation officer on the day he died.
