Avengers: Infinity War Credits Scene Nearly Featured Palm Pilot

The now-famous Captain Marvel pager was almost not used for the post-credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War. Concept artist Fausto De Martini posted a look at the pager Nick Fury uses to send a message to Captain Marvel, but noted that a different pieece of 1990s tech was also pitched: a Palm Pilot.

“The final design was based on a previous version done by another artist,” said De Martini of the pager. “Russel Bobbit (Prop Master) had the fun idea to pitch a palm pilot as well, hence the versions of the design you see here.”

You can see the pics of the protoype Palm Pilot in the post as well. Captain Marvel releases on March 8th, 2019, while Avengers 4 is out on May 3rd.
