TMZ reports that the backup statue for Rocky III is going up for action and could get between $500,000 and $1 million. The artist of the statue, A. Thomas Schomberg, made two versions of the statue for the 1982 film. The original was used for the film and the second was a backup in case something happened. The original sculpture is still in Philadelphia. The backup was on display at the San Diego Hall of Champions, but is now for sale after that building closed down.

SCP Auctions, which ha sold Babe Ruth baseball uniforms, Michael Jordan’s game-used shoes and more. The statue stands almost nine-feet tall and weighs 1,800 pounds. Bidding ends on November 4.
