The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Bad Boys For Life directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah have been hired to direct episodes for Ms. Marvel on Disney Plus. Other directors set for the first season include Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Meera Menon. Bisha K. Ali is the head writer on the series.

Ms. Marel will be Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teenager, and will be the first Muslim character to get her own starring role in the MCU, just as the character was in Marvel comics in 2014. The character will also eventually migrate to the films.

The series is one of several in production. WandaVision will be the first to debut on the service later this year, followed by Falcon & The Winter Soldier. Other Marvel shows for Disney+ include Loki (which was partially finished before COVID shut down production), What If, Hawkeye, Moon Knight and She-Hulk.
