Ben Affleck Says He’d Love To Play Ric Flair On Screen

Ben Affleck says he’d be open to the notion of playing Ric Flair on the screen. A biopic on the WWE Hall of Famer has been in the works through Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Seven Bucks Production since February of 2024, and in a new interview with This Past Weekend with Theo Von, Affleck expressed a desire to play the wrestling icon.

After noting that he did a movie weigh “a very blond wig,” Flair’s name came up and Affleck said, “I wish I was Ric Flair, that would be spectacular, I’d love to play [him].”

Affleck is currently on screen in The Accountant 2, which opened last weekend. There’s been no word on the status of Seven Bucks’ Flair biopic.
