No Time to Die is Daniel Craig’s last ride as 007, and Ben Whishaw says that the film will pay off all of Craig’s other entries into the franchise. Whishaw, who plays Q in the films, spoke with Collider for a new interview and teased how the upcoming film connects to Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, and Spectre.

Asked by the site what fans can expect from the film, Whishaw said, “It’s Daniel’s last film as James Bond, so I think what they can look forward to is a kind of summing up, I guess, of all of the previous Bond films that Daniel’s done. There are strands from all of the films in it, kind of reaching a conclusion.”

The new film is directed by Cary Fukunaga and stars Craig, Whishaw, Ana de Armas, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Rami Malek, Rory Kinnear, and Christoph Waltz. Opening on April 8th, it’s described as follows:

In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
