Bond 25 Sets Filming Location in Italy

The first filming location is set for the next Bond film. Variety reports that the opening sequence for Bond 25 will be filmed in Matera in Southern Italy, which will be used for a big action set piece similar to Mexico City in the opening of Spectre.

The film will feature the return of Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw and will be directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, with a release date set for April 8th, 2020.
