Bruce Campbell Introduces Evil Dead Rise Teaser, Full Trailer Tomorrow

Evil Dead Rise will unveil its demonic first trailer tomorrow, and Bruce Campbell has shared a first look at it online. Campbell, who does not star but is a producer on the film, shared the clip on his Twitter account. He says that he’s seen the film and it’s “amazing” and the “scariest one yet.” You can see the clip below, which features a young girl looking at her Deadite-possessed mother through a front door peephole.

The movie is written and directed by Lee Cronin (The Hole in the Ground) and stars Alyssa Sutherland, Lily Sullivan, Gabrielle Echols, Morgan Davies, Nell Fisher, and Mia Challis. Releasing on April 21st, 2023, it is described as follows:

In the fifth Evil Dead film, a road-weary Beth pays an overdue visit to her older sister Ellie, who is raising three kids on her own in a cramped L.A. apartment. The sisters’ reunion is cut short by the discovery of a mysterious book deep in the bowels of Ellie’s building, giving rise to flesh-possessing demons, and thrusting Beth into a primal battle for survival as she is faced with the most nightmarish version of motherhood imaginable.
