Burger King Hijacks Screening of IT To Troll McDonald’s

Burger King apparently likes to play the long game. The fast-food chain released a new ad which shows their willingness to take whatever shots at the competition they can. The ad depicted a pre-premiere screening of IT in Germany, where immediately after the film ended, but before the credits, a spotlight showed an ad for Burger King. The moral of the film, according to BK, is to “never trust a clown.” They turned IT into one of the longest fast-food advertisements ever.

No word on how Ronald McDonald feels about this.
