Captain Marvel Confirmed to Have Two Post-Scenes Credits, Stan Lee Tribute
The first press screening was held for Captain Marvel and while we don’t have spoilers yet, the number of post-credits scenes have been confirmed. As noted on Twitter by critics who attended the tapings, the film will have two post-credits scenes, one just before the credits and one taking place at the very end.
LA Times reporter Sonaiya Kelley noted that the pre-credits stinger made her “tear up” and the post-credits one “gave me goosebumps,” as you can see below. In addition, movie journalist Anna Klassen said that the film opens with a “touching Stan Lee tribute that Marvel fans will love.”
The film is set to open on March 8th and stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Kenneth Mitchell, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.
Captain Marvel is an effective Avengers prequel in some ways akin to the 1st Captain America movie. It’s pro-woman without being overdone with pre and post credit scenes that made me tear up and gave me goosebumps respectively pic.twitter.com/or2Oj7CdRV
