Castlevania Season 2

Netflix has confirmed that the animated Castlevania series, based on Konami’s iconic video game franchise, has been renewed for a fourth season. You can view the recent announcement below.

Season 3 of the hit show recently debuted earlier this month. Netflix has not yet announced a launch date for Season 4. Considering that Season 2, which was eight episodes, debuted in October 2018, and Season 3, which was 10 episodes, debuted in March 2020, and in light of current events due to the coronavirus, fans might be waiting a while for Season 4. Here’s an official synopsis for the show:

“Inspired by the classic video game series, Castlevania is a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself. The animated series is from Frederator Studios, a Wow! Unlimited Media company, written by best-selling author and comic book icon Warren Ellis and executive produced by Warren Ellis, Kevin Kolde, Fred Seibert and Adi Shankar.”
