Content Coming to Shudder in April: First Five Halloween Movies, David Cronenberg’s The Fly

Shudder has sent out a press release detailing the movies and TV shows coming to the premium streaming service in April. In addition to more new episodes of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs, they will offer up two new exclusive films and the first five movies in the Halloween franchise.

SHUDDER EXCLUSIVE MOVIES:

Lizzie (April 11): Director: Craig William Macneil, Cast: Chloë Sevigny, Kristen Stewart, Kim Dickens – Lizzie (Chloë Sevigny) is a social outcast, living a claustrophobic life that’s ready to boil over. In its dark, moody retelling of the notorious 1892 axe murder of the Borden family in Fall River, Massachusetts, Lizzie is a psychological thriller that reveals many layers of the strange and fragile Lizzie Borden. Monster Party (April 25): Director: Chris von Hoffman, Cast: Sam Strike, Erin Moriarty, Robin Tunney, Julian McMahon, Lance Reddick – Three small-time burglars pose as caterers for a fancy dinner party at an extravagant mansion. But their plan for the perfect heist goes horribly wrong when they discover that the family and their guests are actually a support group of recovering serial killers.
