Content Coming To Shudder In May: V/H/S 2, Fear, More

Shudder has sent out a press release detailing the movies and TV shows coming to the premium streaming service in May. In addition to more new episodes of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs, they will offer up two original exclusive films, a new podcast and cult classics like V/H/S 2, Bad Dreams and Fear.

SHUDDER ORIGINAL MOVIES

The Ranger (May 9): Director: Jenn Wexler, Cast: Chloë Levine, Jeremy Holm, Larry Fessenden A group of punk teens on the run from the police head to the woods, only to be terrorized by one park ranger’s brand of psychotic justice. Jenn Wexler’s bold debut is a colorful, howling slasher rejuvenation. The killer soundtrack features The Grim, the Avengers, Fang and more. (Also available on Shudder Canada and Shudder UK)

The Night Shifter (May 23): Director: Dennison Ramalho, Cast: Daniel de Oliveira, Fabiula Nascimento, Bianca Comparato Stênio works the graveyard shift at the morgue of a vast, violent city. He toils all night, but he’s never alone for Stênio can talk to the dead. And they talk back. The Last Drive-In With Joe Bob Briggs (Fridays at 9 PM ET): Proving once again that “the drive-in will never die,” iconic horror host and exploitation movie aficionado Joe Bob Briggs is back with four more episodes of his Shudder Original series, hosting weekly Friday night double features streaming live exclusively on Shudder. Stan Lee’s Lucky Man Season 3 (May 16): Based on an original idea from comic book legend Stan Lee, Lucky Man tells the story of Harry Clayton (James Nesbitt), a London cop with an ancient bracelet that appears gives him control over luck itself.
