Dennis Rodman Claims Michael Jordan Turned Down Invite From Kim Jong-Un

Dennis Rodman told TMZ that the reason he has been meeting with Kim Jong-Un over the years was because Michael Jordan turned the ruler of North Korea down. Rodman first met Kim in 2013 on a trip with the Harlem Globetrotters. He said that Jong-un’s people asked to meet and they became friends after.

He said: “Basically, he asked Michael Jordan first and Michael Jordan said, ‘No.’ So then he asked about me and I said, ‘Yes.’ That’s how it all started.”

Rodman also spoke about his job as a consultant for AnyTickets.com, which he said will donate a portion of profits to charity.
