Disney Announces Descendants 3 For 2019

The Disney Channel announced that the third film in the Descendants series will debut in the summer of 2019. Production has begun in Vancouver and a promo was debuted during the original film Zombies. Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart, Mitchell Hope and China Anne McClain will return along with executive producer, choreogrpaher and director Kenny Ortega and writers Sara Parriott and Josann McGibbon

Disney Channels Worldwide president and chief creative officer Gary Marsh said: “By adding a modern twist to Disney’s most treasured heritage properties, the world of Descendants has become an instant classic. We’re thrilled that the creative team that conceived and launched this global phenomenon is back to dive deeper into these characters and the imaginative world from which they come.”
