Disney is looking for a lot of gold for Avengers: Endgame come Oscar season, but not necessarily for Robert Downey Jr. or any actor. Disney has launched their “For Your Consideration” awards site for 2019 which includes Aladdin, Toy Story 4, The Lion King, and Frozen II. Avengers features considerations for several major categories, but no acting spotlights as you can see below:

Best Picture: Kevin Feige
Best Director: Anthony and Joe Russo
Best Adapted Screenplay: Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely
Best Cinematography: Trent Opaloch
Best Film Editing: Jeffrey Ford, Matthew Schmidt
Best Production Design: Charles Wood (Production Designer), Tonja Schurmann (Set Decorator)
Best Costume Design: Judianna Makovsky
Best Makeup & Hairstyling: John Blake, Janine Thompson, Brian Sipe
Best Sound Mixing: Tom Johnson, Juan Peralta, John Pritchett
Best Sound Editing: Shannon Mills, Daniel Laurie
Best Visual Effects: Dan Deleeuw, Matt Aitken, Russell Earl, Dan Sudick
Best Original Score: Alan Silvestri

It is important to note that, at the moment, the page doesn’t appear entirely complete, as only Endgame has categories listed. It’s entirely possible that some could be added later.

Last year’s Black Panther received seven Oscar nominations including Best Picture, Best Original Score, Best Original Song, Best Costume Design, and more, but was shut out of acting nominations. It ultimately won for Best Original Score, Best Costume Design, and Best Production Design.
