Disney+ is moving their must-see Marvel night from Friday to Wednesday, bumping the release date of Loki up by two days. The service announced on Wednesday that the next MCU series, which stars Tom Hiddleston as the titular God of Mischief, will bow on June 9th instead of the previously-announced June 11th date. New episodes will release every Wednesday after that.

The studio released a video with Hiddleston revealing the news, saying, “I’ve noticed that in these long superhero montages, Loki tends to get a bit left out, even though arguably he’s incredibly heroic himself — cunning, charming, I could go on. But maybe…why don’t I just prove it to you. Wednesdays are the new Fridays.”

You can see that video, as well as a new preview, below. The series stars Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant and is written by Michael Waldon. Kate Herron is directng the series, described as follows:

Marvel Studios’ Loki features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
