Disney Pushes Indiana Jones 5 Back to 2021

Disney has pushed the release date for Indiana Jones 5 back by a year to July of 2021. The studio announced on Tuesday that the film has been moved from its July 10th, 2020 date to the new premiere date.

As THR reports, the release date move was expected, as production has yet to start while work continues on hammering out the script. The film will be directed by Steven Spielberg and sees Harrison Ford returning to reprise his role as the title character. Lawrence Kasdan is working on the script, which was previously written by David Koepp.
