The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Disney has renewed Star Wars Resistance for a second season, just before its mid-season premiere on January 13. The new season will debut in the fall of this year. It was previously greenlit back in April and debuted in October. The voice cast includes Christopher Sean, Suzie McGrath, Scott Lawrence, Myrna Velasco, Josh Brener, Donald Faison, Jim Rash and Bobby Moynihan. Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie return from the films as Poe Dameron and Captain Phasma, respectively. Dave Filoni created the show and executive produces with Athena Portillo, Justin Ridge and Brandon Auman. Amy Beth Christenson is the art director.
