Donald Trump’s Lawyer Claims He Paid $130,000 To Stormy Daniels

As we previously reported, reports surfaced earlier this year alleging a 2006 affair between President Donald Trump and porn star Stormy Daniels. The incident allegedly happened a year after Trump married Melania, and the story originally came to light in 2016, when he ran for office. Now TMZ reports that Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen is claiming that he paid her $130,000 from his own money in 2016 and was not reimbursed.

He said: “Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford [Stormy’s real name], and neither reimbursed me for the payment, either directly or indirectly.

He didn’t say if Trump knew about the payment, but he said he told the Federal Election Commission what he did when a complaint was filed saying campaign money was used to keep her quiet.
