UPDATEx2: TMZ has now asked actor and comedian Marlon Wayans for his thoughts on the issue, and Donald Trump dis-inviting the Golden State Warriors to the White House. You can check out a video of Marlon Wayans’ comments on the President below.

Wayans said that he agrees with LeBron James’ comments that going to the White House is no longer an honor for the NBA champions. Wayans referred to Trump as “the a**hole kid in the sandbox that threw a party and nobody going.”

UPDATE: The Golden State Warriors have responded to Donald Trump rescinding their invitation to the White House, saying they planned to decide as a team this morning on whether to go to the White House or not, but that after Trump withdrew his invitation, they will now go to Washington D.C. and “constructively use our trip to the nation’s capital in February to celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion — the values that we embrace as an organization.”

ORIGINAL: Donald Trump continues to spend a lot of time attacking athletes. Following his attack on NFL players who kneel during the national anthem last night, Trump aimed his fire at Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry. The entire Warriors team remains reluctant to go to the White House for the usual post-championship meet-and-greet with the President, and Curry said Friday that the team will decide soon if they will go or not, adding that he personally does not want to go.

Trump didn’t seem to like this, and has withdrawn his invitation to Curry and the entire Warriors team to the White House.

Following Trump’s tweet, NBA star LeBron James got involved, attacking Trump and calling him a “bum.”
