Universal Pictures has set a release date for their upcoming action-thriller Red Notice, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The studio announced on Friday that the film, which they won in a bidding war that included Warner Bros., Paramount, Sony, Netflix and more, will release on June 12th, 2020. The film will be opening a week after an untitled DC Extended Universe film, and a week before an untitled Pixar film.

The film teams Johnson back up with Rawson Marshall Thurber, who wrote and directed Central Intelligence and the upcoming Skyscraper, which opens in July. In Red Notice, Johnson plays an Interpol agent tasked with capturing the most wanted art thief in the world. “Red Notice” refers to the highest and most serious of Interpol notices (there are eight) and concerns the arrest of wanted criminals.
