Dwayne Johnson’s Seven Bucks Signs First-Look Film Deal With Disney

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks has signed a first-look deal with Disney for film development. Variety reports that Johnson and Garcia’s production shingle signed a deal to develop both streaming and theatrical films with the Walt Disney Company.
The report notes that the films will potentially be vehicles for Johnson to star in, and is not limited to filmed content. The multi-year agreement will allow the company to collaborate across all divisions of the company, which could potentially include the likes of his parks businesses, sports service, and more.
Johnson has worked with Disney in the past with films like Moana, Jungle Cruise, Race to Witch Mountain and more. He has Moana 2 and a live-action Moana film on the way as well, but Seven Bucks has been signed to deal with a studio up to this point.
