A new report suggests we’ll see The Falcon And The Winter Soldier a little earlier than previously believed. Deadline, in a report discussing how Noah Mills had joined the series in an undisclosed role, notes that the MCU series is set to arrive in August of 2020. Previous reports had said the series would arrive in “late 2020” and technically August is the last half of the year, so it’s not inaccurate, but most of the time studio terminology equates “late” to the last quarter of the year so it’s welcome news for Marvel fans.

Details on the series’ plot are not yet known, but it will follow up on the events of Avengers: Endgame where Steve Rogers passed the Captain America shield to Falcon. Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will reprise their roles as Falcon and Bucky/Winter Soldier alongside Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter and Daniel Bruhl as Helmut Zemo. New to the MCU in this series is John Walker, aka US Agent/Super-Patriot, along with Mills, Desmond Chiam and Miki Ishikawa in unknown roles.
