First Halloween Ends Trailer Teases Laurie & Michael’s Final Battle

Laurie Strode and Michael Myers’ sage is set to end with Halloween Ends, and the first trailer teases a brutal confrontation. Universal Pictures released the trailer for the horror film on Tuesday, which shows Michael creeping up into a house and finding Laurie waiting for him, gun in hand.

The trailer then quickly recounts the lengthy history between Laurie and Michael and gives a glimpse at some of the other characters including Andi Matichak’s Allyson and Will Patton’s Frank Hawkins, before we get some more of the all-out battle between the protagonist and slasher.

The film is set to release on October 14th and is directed by David Gordon Green. It will conclude the latest trilogy that started with 2018’s Halloween and continued into 2021’s Hallowen Kills. The synopsis reads:

Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.
