First Look At Kamille In Queen of the Ring

A first look at AEW’s Kamille as wrestling legend June Byers in the Mildred Burke biopic, Queen of the Ring, has been revealed on the film’s official Facebook page.  

Queen of the Ring, written and directed by Ash Avildsen (whose projects include No Cover, the in-development Genghis Khan and Paradise City, and who received a Grammy nomination for his work with Poppy), tells the story of wrestling pioneer Mildred Burke.

Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak from Arrow) stars as Burke, while Kamille portrays her rival, June Byers. 

The film’s plot focuses on Burke’s rise to fame in the 1930s-1950s, her complex relationship with her husband and business partner, Billy Wolfe, and her fight against the male-dominated wrestling establishment.
