The first footage from The Matrix Resurrections is online, courtesy of an official interactive fan site. Warner Bros. Pictures has launched a site, WhatIsTheMatrix.com, where fans can view the first footage ahead of the trailer release this Thursday.

EW.com reports that the site will deliver a combination of clips and narration based on specific criteria, such as whether you pick the red or blue pill, what time it is, and so on — with over 180,000 potential combinations. With that being the case, it’s difficult to sum up the footage but it includes shots of stars Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, and more.

The version of the footage I saw through a few clickthrough featured different narration, depending on whether you click the red pill or blue pill. The red pill features Abdul-Mateen saying:

“This is the moment for you to show us what is real. Right now you believe it’s [your current time] but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Could be this is the first day of the rest of your life, but if you want it, you gotta fight for it.”

The blue pill, on the other hand, has Neil Patrick Harris saying:

“Do you remember how you got here? You’ve lost your capacity to discern reality from fiction. What’s real is here and now. [Your current time] Anything else is just your mind playing tricks on you. It becomes a problem when fantasies endanger us. We don’t want anyone to get hurt, do we?”

The Matrix Resurrections will premiere in theaters and on HBO Max day-and-date on December 22nd.
