First Trailer Arrives For Titans, Plus Details On DC Universe Streaming Service

DC Universe has released the first trailer for the live-action series Titans, which will debut when the streaming service launches this fall. It is executive produced by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, and Sarah Schechter. The series stars Brenton Thwaites, Teagan Croft, Anna Diop, Lindsey Gort, Amy Rohrbach, Minka Kelly, Ryan Potter, Alan Ritchson, Curran Walters, Seamus Dever, Bruno Bichir, April Bowlby, Jake Michaels, and Dwain Murphy.

Here’s a synopsis: When Dick Grayson (Robin) and Rachel Roth (Raven) require assistance to deal with a plot that threatens the entire planet, they join with Koriand’r (Starfire) and Gar Logan (Beast Boy) to form the Titans.

Meanwhile, TVLine reports that DC Universe has also revealed the pricing plan for the service. You can pre-order right now at DCUniverse.com for an annual fee of $74.99 (plus tax), which is about $6.25 a month. When it launches, there will be monthly memberships for $7.99.

It includes original live-action shows like Titans, Doom Patrol and Swamp Thing as well as animated shows Harley Quinn and Young Justice: Outsiders. It will also have past titles like The Adventures of Superman, Batman: The Animated Series, Constantine, The Flash (1990), Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and Wonder Woman. Film titles include Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, Superman: The Movie and animated films like Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, Green Lantern: First Flight and Wonder Woman. It will also include a rotating selection of various comic titles to read.
