First Trailer For Western Down The Long River Starring Matt Cardona

Matt Cardona has revealed the first trailer for the new Western he’s starring in, called Down The Long River. The independent wrestling star posted to his Twitter account to share the preview for the upcoming film, which you can see below.

Cardona announced the crowdfunded film in May of 2024. The movie is the directorial debut of Harry Kolmer, himself a former pro wrestler under the ring name of Harrison C Kolmer, and was written by Kurt Aubuchon. It stars Aubuchon, Cardona, Jackie Kelly, and Eric Wolfgang Nelson and is described as follows:

In the aftermath of the Civil War, a former Army surgeon, a notorious gang, and a duplicitous Pinkerton agent cross paths in a tiny river town. When revenge and a fortune in gold are at stake, the town is caught in the crossfire.
