Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson revealed on Twitter that the first trailer has officially arrived for his NBC sitcom Young Rock, which officially debuts on February 16 at 8 PM ET.

Rock wrote: “I wish my dad was around to see. Maaaaan he would’ve been proud. Yes, I kicked puberty’s ass at 15 and turned tequila tycoon by 10. Can’t wait to make ya laugh and share some life lessons I’ve learned along the way.

The series is produced by Johnson alongside Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, Jennifer Carreras, and former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz. Rock will appear in each episode of the show, which stars Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, and Uli Latukefu as Johnson at ages 10, 15, and 18 – 20, respectively. The cast also includes Stacey Leilua as Johnson’s mother Ata, while Joseph Lee Anderson will play Rocky Johnson and Ana Tuisila plays Lia Maivia, Ata’s mother and Dwayne’s grandmother.

Here’s a synopsis: Young Rock focuses on different chapters of Dwayne Johnson’s life. From growing up in a strong and resilient family, to being surrounded by the wild characters of his professional wrestling family, to playing football at the University of Miami, the show will explore the crazy rollercoaster that has shaped Dwayne into the man he is today and the larger-than-life characters he’s met along the way.
