Floyd Mayweather Says He and President Trump Are Not Friends

TMZ reports that Floyd Mayweather is distancing himself from United States President Donald Trump. When a photographer was trying to talk to Mayweather and said he’s friends with President Trump, Mayweather stated, “Oh, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up. Friends is a strong words.”

Previously, Mayweather visited Trump after Trump won the election in November 2016. Also, Mayweather defended Trump’s controversial comments in the past. Mayweather then started to point out some people he considers real friends, and said the relationship he has with President Trump is more casual.

Mayweather stated, “I know a lot of people. I knew Barack Obama. I know Donald Trump. I know a lot of people.”

Regarding the issue of President Trump disinviting Super Bowl winners, the Philadelphia Eagles, to the White House over National Anthem controversy, Mayweather stated, “I don’t want my name in no bull****. I’m out of it.” You can see a video of the chat below.
