The actor who played the Red Ranger in Power Rangers Wild Force has pled guilty to killing his roommate with a sword. Deadline reports that Ricardo Medina Jr., who played Cole Evans in the series, entered a guilty plea to one felony count of voluntary manslaughter in court on Friday and admitted in court that he used a sword in the killing.

Medina was arrested on January 31st, 2015 after he got into an argument with his roommate Josh Sutter. The argument got physical and Medina stabbed Sutter with a sword, after which he called police. Sutter was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital after suffering ten wounds. Medina was released when prosecutors determined they didn’t have enough evidence to charge him and asked law enforcement to continue investigating. He was eventually arrested again and charged with murder.

Medina, who had claimed self-defense at the time, faces six years in prison on the conviction. His sentencing is set for March 30th.
