Gal Gadot Joins The Cast Of Red Notice

Deadline reports that Gal Gadoit has joined the cast of the action-comedy Red Notice. The film will be written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. It stars Dwayne Johnson and another male star who will be added soon. It begins shooting in April 2019 in Europe, for a June 12, 2020 release.

Univeral won a bidding war against other studios for the project. The film is described as a “globe-trotting, action-comedy, heist thriller.” Gadot will play a “brilliant and mysterious figure in the art world.” It will be the third collaboration between Thurber and Johnson after Central Intelligence and Skyscraper. Beau Flynn will produce through FlynnPictureCo, along with Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia through Seven Bucks Productions. Thurber will also produce. Wendy Jacobson of FPC is executive producing.
